Edit the Admin Landing Page Messages

WhenThe youAdmin sign in to OPS-COM initially, you are presented with a landing page. This messageDashboard is referred to as the Admin Dashboard. Thisinitial landing page can be modified or editedpresented to allowadministrators upon logging into OPS-COM. This article guides administrators on how to modify and customize this landing page message, allowing organizations to display important and up-to-date information directly to Systemtheir Administratorssystem administrators and staff.

Setup & Configuration

Quick Steps:
  1. GoHover toover System ConfigurationConfiguration, Admin Management, >and click Manage Roles.
  2. Click Permissions on the role you want to grant this to.
  3. On the  System MessagingContent.
  4. tab,
  5. Openenable the Manage System Messages tab and locate the Admin Dashboard.checkbox.
  6. Click EditSave to make changes in the Message EditorPermissions.
  7. Save your changes using the Save Messaging button.
  8. Confirm that the changes have been saved successfully.

  1.       To access the System Messaging Tool, hover over System Configuration in the main menu bar, select Content & Designs, and then Pages and Content Blocks (previously System Messaging).

    1. Hover over System Configuration, Content & Designs, and click Pages and Content Blocks.
    2. Click the Messages tab.
    3. Click Edit Choosenext to the Admin Dashboard from the Messages list and click the itemEdit button..
    4. For visual edits, change directly in the content window to use theThe WYSIWYG editor.editor will show by default. To edit in HTML, select Source Code from the Tools menu.
    5. After making your edits, click the Save Messaging button. A pop-up confirmation will notify you that your changes have been saved.
