Introduction

The system dashboard has been reworked to provide greater flexibility. Items on the dashboard are now displayed as widgets, allowing admins to create custom dashboard layouts by arranging these widgets freely.

Accessing the Dashboard

  1. OpenAccess theDashboard: admin site; the dashboard appears on the home page.

  2. Click the OPS-COM logo (top-left) to return to the home page.

Managing Layouts

  1. Navigate to System Configuration → Dashboard Layouts and Items.

  2. View/Change Layouts: Use the Dashboarddropdown Layoutsmenu page to:

    • Create a new layout.(top-right).

    • EditManage or set layouts as system defaults.Layouts:

  3. Drag widgets from storage to your layout and save.

Creating Custom Widgets

    • Go to System Configuration →> Dashboard Layouts.

    • Create or edit layouts by dragging widgets.

  1. Create Widgets:

    • Go to Custom Dashboard Items.

    • ClickAdd Createtitle, Newcontent, and configuresave.

  2. SaveAssign Permissions: Ensure roles have the widgetcorrect anddashboard add it to a layout.permissions.

  1. Dashboard Layouts: Manage or create layouts.

    • Custom Dashboard Items: Create and manage widgets.

      Manage all existing dashboard layouts (including those created by others).

    • In

    • Dashboard Layouts, you can:

Creating Dashboard Layouts

  • 1.   Click Edit or New Layout or Edit an existing layout to open the layout editor.

Creating Custom Dashboard Items

Admins1.   canGo create custom widgets by accessing the item management page underto System Configuration: > Dashboard > Custom Dashboard Items.

  1. View all existing custom widgets.

  2. Choose toClick EditNew Item or Create NewEdit to open the item editor.

  3. ·     

  4. Configure the following:

    • Title: Widget header displayed on the dashboard.

    • ·     

    • Identifier: Unique ID for identifying the widget.

    • ·     

    • Language: SpecifyCreate the languageversions for thedifferent item.site languages.

    • Content: Add text, images, or other objects.elements.

  5. Save the widgetitem. toIt makewill itnow availableappear in the widget storage sidebar for placement on the dashboard.sidebar.

    Choose the specific Role, click on the dashboard.
