Best Practices & Considerations
- Designated Recipients: Only add email addresses of personnel who are responsible for monitoring and acting upon system warnings.
- Monitor Regularly: Periodically review the emails sent to these addresses and the list itself to ensure all recipients are current and the warnings are being received and actioned appropriately.
- Group Email Addresses: Consider using a distribution list or group email address (e.g.,
ops-alerts@yourcompany.com
) if multiple individuals need to receive the same rowwarnings. This simplifies management, as you only need to update the group's membership in your email yousystem, wishnot in OPS-COM.
- Validation: Ensure that all entered email addresses are valid and actively monitored to

Keep in mind that deleting an email is not the same as archiving/deactivating an email. Once the email has been deleted it is removed from both the archived and active lists.
Archiving Alert Emails
You can also choose to archive a particular email if you would like to make it temporarily unavailable to receive email alerts. By default you will not see the archived users as this requires you to click the Toggle Archived button.

This will display the highlighted users in red and allow you to edit or delete the email if you wish. To activate emails again make sure that you toggle the Active field on.
