Disable Browser Auto-Fill and Auto-Complete

Setup and Configuration

To ensure accurate data entry, follow the steps below corresponding to errorsyour ifspecific unnoticed data is saved by mistake. To avoid this issue, you should turn off the auto-complete feature in yourweb browser.

Some browser plug-ins, such as password managers, may also act as auto-completefill utilities and cause similar issues. If disabling the browser's native auto-completefill doesn’tdoes not resolve the problem,issue, review your installed plug-ins and disable or configure them to exclude the OPS-COM domain as needed.

Configuration

Internet Explorer

  1. Identify your browser below.
  2. Follow the instructions to disable auto-fill for that browser.
  3. If issues persist, check and disable browser plug-ins like password managers.
  4. Save your changes and test the system to confirm the issue is resolved.

Internet Explorer

  1. Click the Tools menu icon.

  2. Select Internet Options, thenand gonavigate to the Content tab.

  3. Under Auto Complete, click Settings.

  4. Uncheck Forms and User Names and Passwords on Forms.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge and click the More icon (three dots) at the top right.

  2. Go to Settings and scroll to Advanced Settings.

  3. Find

    Locate Save Form Entries and toggle itthe setting to off.

Chrome

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Click More >and select Settings at the top right.

  3. Scroll to the bottom and click Show advanced settings.

  4. Under Passwords and forms, uncheck Enable Autofill to fill out web forms in a single click.

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. In the address bar, type

    Type about:config in the address bar and press Enter.Enter.

  3. Click I'll be careful, I promise.

  4. Search for dom.forms.requestAutocomplete and double-click the entry to set its value to False.

Safari

  1. Open Safari and go to Preferences.

  2. Click AutoFill.

  3. Deselect all typescategories of information you don’tdo not want Safari to auto-fill.

  4. To edit or delete saved information, click
