Edit the Admin Landing Page Messages

The Admin Dashboard is the initial landing page presentedmessage tofeature administrators upon logging into OPSCOM. This article guides administrators on how to modify and customize this landing page message, allowingallows organizations to display important andimportant, up-to-date information directly to their staff upon logging into the system. Its primary purpose is to centralize internal communications such as system updates, upcoming deadlines, or schedule changes. This article is intended for OPS-COM administrators responsible for managing internal announcements and staff.system content.

Setup &and Configuration

CustomizingThis this messagefeature requires accessspecific role permissions to Contents & Designs onaccess the Systemcontent Configurationand menu.design configuration menus.

Admin Side:You Administrators must have the ManagingManage System Messages permission enabled on yourtheir profileuser to access this.role.

  1. Hover over System Configuration, ConfigurationAdmin Management, and, click Admin Management, then Manage Roles.Roles.

  2. Click the Permissions onbutton next to the role you want to grantmodify.

Editing the Message Content

  1. Hover over System Configuration,Configuration, click Content & Designs,Designs, and clickthen Pages and Content Blocks.Blocks.

  2. Click the Messages tab.

  3. Click the Edit button next to the Admin Dashboard item.item.

    Enter your desired content using the standard WYSIWYG editoreditor.

    will show by default. To edit in HTML, select Source Code from the Tools menu.

The WYSIWYG editor displays by default for quick text entry. If you prefer to construct your message using HTML, click the Tools drop-down menu and choose Source Code.
