Extend Your Parking
The Extend Your Parking feature sends automated expiration notifications to users, giving them the opportunity to extend their active temporary parking permits before time runs out. System administrators can configure a global default notification time, while registered end-users can customize their personal notification preferences. This article is intended for OPSCOM administrators.
Setup and Configuration
Administrators setestablish the system-wide default lead time for permit expiration notices.
Setting the Default Notification Time (Admin Side)

In the admin portal, openOpen the System Configuration menu. -
Select System Settings.

Under the Components list on the left side, click Temp Permits.

Locate the Default Permit Notification Time drop-down menu.

Choose your desired default lead time (e.g., 10 Minutes prior to expiration).

Click Save Settings.
End-User Customization
End-users can override the administrator's default notification time to suit their personal preferences.
Configuring Expiry Reminders (User Portal)
Log into the user portal and clickYour Profilein the left sidebar menu.Select theUser Settingstab on theProfile Informationpage.Use theParking Expiry Reminderdrop-down menu to choose a custom notification window (e.g., 10 minutes).ClickSave Changes.
