Search Repeat Offenders Report

Introduction

The searchSearch repeatRepeat offendersOffenders pagereport allows site adminsadministrators to findidentify vehicles and users on the site that have receivedaccumulated multiple parking violationsviolations. onIts theirprimary account.

purpose

is to help enforcement teams track chronic offenders, manage warnings, and apply appropriate penalties or towing actions. This article is intended for OPS-COM administrators.

TheAdministrators pagecan willuse appearthis asreporting displayed.tool to filter violation data and output specific counts based on either the vehicle or the user profile.

Several options are available to narrow the search.

    1. Hover over Violations and click Search Repeat Offenders.

    2. Enter specific dates into the Start Date and End Date: specifiesfields to specify the date range in which the violations were received.

    3. Click the Ticket Category: drop-down menu and choose a specific violation category to narrow the category of the violation received.

    4. Enter a numerical value into the Number of Violations: field to set the minminimum numberthreshold of violations thea user or vehicle hasmust received.meet
      to appear on the report.

    5. Click the Processed Value: categorizesdrop-down menu and choose Unprocessed, Processed, or Warning Only to categorize violations based on their processingcurrent status.

        • Unprocessed: violations that have not been processed yet.
        • Processed: violations that have been paid for and processed.
        • Warning Only: violations that were marked as a warning instead issuing a fine.

       

    6. Enable the Unknown Users Only: onlycheckbox showsto exclusively show violations assigned to vehicles without a known user tied to them.

    7. Click the Search By:By

        drop-down
      • menu and choose Vehicle/Plate: outputsor the count of violations tied to license plates. Will not include violations attached directly to a user.
      • User/Driver: outputsto determine how the countoutput ofdata violationswill tiedbe to users. Includes violations attached directly to the user and any violations attached to their vehicles. Will not include violations attached to a vehicle with no assigned driver.

    The groupingone of the green export buttons located at the top right of the search results to export the data in your chosen format.

    Key Information Displayed

    The data grouped in the output will varyvaries depending on whether it isyou selected to be output by vehicleVehicle/Plate or byUser/Driver user.in your search parameters.

      By Vehicle/Plate

      GroupingGrouping: on the vehicle will showShows the number of violations on each plate,specific license plate and lists any associated drivers of the vehicle.

    Individual

    • User/Driver canGrouping: be viewed by clicking onShows the violation count.

      The warning icon next to the username will show a list of the violations associated to that user.

       

      By User/Driver

      Grouping on the user will show thetotal number of violations given to the user, including any violations givenassigned to vehicles where the user is the driverregistered of.

    • Individual violationsViolations: In either grouping view, you can be viewed by clickingclick on the hyperlinked violation count.

    Visual Cues and Status Indicators

    • Warning Icon: When searching by vehicle, a warning icon next to the username will show a targeted list of the violations associated specifically to that user.

    • TheBreakdown Icon: When searching by user, an icon next to the total violation count showsdisplays thea breakdown of the total,total amount (showing the number of violations assigned directly to the user andversus the number of violations assigned to that user's vehicles.vehicles).

    Best Practices and Considerations

    • AfterTargeted searching,Reporting: Utilize the resultsSearch canBy befilter exportedstrategically inbased on your goals. Searching by Vehicle/Plate is ideal for identifying unregistered cars or scofflaws that frequently violate lot rules, while searching by User/Driver is best for evaluating the overall compliance of a chosenregistered formatpermit byholder clickingacross oneall of thetheir greenlisted buttonsvehicles.

    • Reviewing Warnings: Use the topWarning rightOnly ofoption under the searchProcessed results.Value filter to evaluate if past warnings have been effective, or if a repeat offender has exhausted their leniency and now requires a fine-bearing ticket.
