User Profile Overview

The User Profile LandingOverview Page in OPSCOMpage serves as an administrator'sa central dashboard for a user's comprehensive system information and current activity. ThisIts pageprimary offerspurpose is to provide administrators with a quick reference view, enabling efficient access and management of user details, associated vehicles, violations, permits, and other crucial historical data. This article is intended for OPS-COM administrators responsible for managing user accounts and troubleshooting issues.

Setup and Configuration

This feature is a core administrative dashboard and does not require extensive initial configuration to function.

Admin Side: Administrators must have the appropriate system role permissions enabled to view and edit user profiles within the administrative portal.

Using this Feature

    Administrators

  1. Tocan use the following instructions to navigate quickly to a user's profile,profile youand canutilize usethe available management sections.

    Accessing a User Profile

    1. Utilize the Quick Search functionfield in the main menu, or hover over User Management, and click  User Search. to locate a specific account.

    2. Locate and select a user, and

      Click the specific username from your search results to open the User Profile Overview pagepage.

      will be displayed. This page provides various sections and actions for managing user data and viewing their history.

    Editing a User's Basic Profile

    1. Click the Edit button onlocated within the Basic Profile Information section.

    2. Modify the necessary account details within the Personal Information, Student Information, or Staff/Faculty Information categories.

    3. Click the BasicSubmit Profile Information section.button to save your changes.

    The fullfields userdisplayed within the profile editing form will display, allowing you to update various account details.

    • The Edit User Profile form is structured into three main categories: Personal Information, Student Information, and Staff/Faculty Information. Each category contains various fields thatcategories can be individually set to Hidden,Hidden, Visible,Visible, or Required (as defined in your System Settings for User Profiles).

Logging in as a User

ThisAdministrators feature allows administrators tocan view the system fromexactly anas the end-user'suser perspective.sees it.

  1. Click the Login as user button.button.

  2. AReview the new browser window that opens, which will open, automatically logginglog you into the OPSCOMOPS-COM end-user portal as the selected user, with all their associated functionalities.user.

You may encounter an error if the Auto Login setting is not configured correctly in Systemyour Settings.system settings. If this occurs, please contact OPSCOMOPS-COM Support for assistance.

Viewing a User's Waitlist Position

If the user is on any waitlists, you will see the lots and their ranks listed in this section.

Adding or Editing Vehicles

  1. In

    Click the VehiclesEdit section,button click Edit.

  2. You will be directed towithin the VehicleVehicles Informationsection.

    • Add

      Click the necessary buttons to add new vehiclesvehicles, toedit theexisting user's profile.

    • Editvehicles, or remove existing associated vehicles.
    • Applyapply a DNTT (Do Not Ticket Tag)Tag (DNTT) to a specific vehicle.

Viewing Additional Information

The Userlanding Profile Landing Pagepage provides immediateimmediate, direct access to a wealth of additional user-specific data:

    offer direct access to information regarding Alarms, Deposits, Violations, User Notes, and Permit details.
    • Active Alerts: Any active alerts or warnings associated with the user's profile will be prominently displayed at the top of the page.page.

    • Active Deposits

      Waitlist onPosition: If the user accountis on any waitlists, the requested lots and their current ranks will be displayedlisted.

      Violations: notes will be displayed and you can also add additional notes here.

    • For Violations:
      • View detailed violation information by clicking the specific ticket number withinlink. the Violations section.
      • If available, view photos related to a violation by clicking the cameraCamera icon next to the ticket number.

    • ForPermits: Permits:

      • Access detailed permit information by clicking the specific permit number link in the Active Permits section.

      • Deposits and Notes: section.View any active deposits on the user account, read private user notes, and add new administrative notes directly from the dashboard.
