Allocate Lockers
This guidearticle walks you throughdescribes the process of allocatingsetting lockers,up and managing your locker inventory using the Locker Allocation tool. This feature allows administrators to create a hierarchical structure of buildings and areas, add individual lockers in bulk, and manage their status and visibility. This guide is intended for OPS-COM administrators responsible for locker management.
Setup & Configuration
Setting up your locker inventory is a hierarchical process that involves creating buildings, then areas within those buildings, and finally adding buildings,lockers areas,to andthose lockers, as well as managing their visibility and archiving.areas.
QuickAccessing Steps:the Locker Allocation Page

Hover over Lockers Management and select Allocate.
AddAfteradding a building, clickAdd Area, fill out the form, and save.Click+to add lockers to the area. Use Specific Locker or Locker Range options, then clickAdd Lockers.Confirm locker addition and return toOn the Manage Locker Numbers
screen.To view lockers,page, clicktheMagnifying Glass Icon.To remove lockers, use theTrash Bin Iconto archive or toggle visibility.Restore archived lockers by clicking+, selecting the lockers, and confirming restoration.-

Create a buildingBuilding
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Allocate Lockers: Hover over the Lockers Management icon and select Allocate. The Manage Locker Numbers page will display. You’ll need to add buildings first to configure lockers.
2. Add a Building: Click on Add Building.
Create a Building Areas:Area

Once the building is added, click
onAdd Areatowithincreatethatabuilding'sbuildingsection.area. CompleteEnter the
form by entering:- Area Name and Description.
DescriptionSelect the Locker User Types that can rent lockers in this area.

Choose a Sales Window type (
Yearly,Yearly,Monthly,Monthly,Semester,Semester, orOther)Other).

Click Save Changes.

4. Add Lockers to

Click the + symbol next to
openthe"AddareaLockerswhereToyouArea"wantscreen.to add lockers. -
YouUsecanoneaddorlockersbothusingoftwothemethods:following methods to enter locker numbers:-
Specific Lockers: Enter individual locker
numbersnumbers,(e.g.,withLL001,eachLL002)numberoron alistnewofline.locker numbers separated by a line return. -
Locker Range:
Add lockers by specifyingEnter anumerical range (Start andEnd)Endwithnumber for a sequential range. You can also add an optional Prefix orPostfix.Postfix.
Example: Create lockers LL001, LL002, and LL006 through the Specific Locker method and a Locker Range LL007–LL010 at the same time. -
Optionally, deselectEnsure the Visible buttoncheckbox is enabled if you wish to hidewant the lockers to be immediately available for now.users to see.
Click Add Lockers to confirm..
Using this Feature
Once your locker inventory is created, you can view, archive, and restore lockers as needed.
Viewing Lockers in an Area

To view the list of all lockers within a specific area, click the
6.MagnifyingViewGlassLockerIconList:You’ll returnnext to the area name on the Manage Locker Numbersscreen. Click on theMagnifying Glass Iconto view all lockers added in the new area.page.7.
Archiving Lockers (Visibility & Archiving):

To remove
lockers,lockersyoufromcantheeitheractivetoggle their visibility or archive them. To archive lockers,inventory, clickonthe Trash Bin Icon.You’llnexthaveto the relevant area.-
You will be presented with two
choices:options:-
Archive All Lockers:
ArchiveArchivesalleverylockerslocker in the area. -
Archive Selected Lockers:
ChooseAllows you to choose specific lockers from a list toarchivearchive.(e.g., LL001 and LL002) and clickArchive.

8.Restoring
ConfirmArchived Locker Archiving:
A confirmation message will appear, confirming the lockers have been archived.
9. Restore Archived Lockers:
- To restore archived lockers, click the + symbol
andforaddthe area. -
Enter the numbers of the lockers
again.you wish to restore. -
Select Restored
forfrom the lockerstatus.status drop-down menu and confirm the action.
Best Practices & Consideration
- You can use both the Specific Locker and Locker Range methods simultaneously to add non-sequential and sequential lockers in a single operation. This is efficient for complex locker layouts.
AArchivingconfirmationlockersscreenremoveswillthemappear, showingfrom therestoredactivelockers.inventory. While they can be restored, this action should be used carefully, especially if lockers have current or past rental history associated with them.
