This process is necessary when a user no longer associatedowns a vehicle, or to correct a vehicle.vehicle that was mistakenly linked to the wrong user account.

How to Remove a Vehicle from a User

 

  1. Click on

    Navigate to User Search: Hover over the User Management tab and click User Search.Search.

  2. Search for

    Locate the userUser: usingUse eitherthe aavailable search fields (e.g., name, username, email, or account number.number) to find the correct user profile.

  3. Open the User Profile: Click on thatthe user's usernameUsername in the search results to enteropen that user'stheir Profile Page.

  4. Access the Vehicle List: Click on the Vehicles tabtab. inThe the top menu bar.

  5. Find the vehicle to remove.
  6. Click the red "X" button next to the vehicle.
  7. Confirm by clicking OK.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
  1. Navigate to User Search: Click on the User Management tab and click User Search.

  2. Search for the User: Use the User Search function to find the profile of the user you want to unlink a vehicle from.

  3. Search for the user using either a name, username, email or account number.

  4. Select the User Profile: After finding the user in your search results, click on their profile to open it.

  5. Navigate to the Vehicles Tab: Once in the user's profile, click on the Vehicles tab on top menu bar. Thispage will refresh the page andto display the list ofall vehicles currently linked to thethat user.

  6. LocateInitiate theRemoval: Vehicle to Remove: In the listvehicle oflist, vehicles, findlocate the vehicle you wish to unlink.

  7. Remove the Vehicle: Clickclick the red "X"X buttonicon located toin thethat rightvehicle's of the vehicle you want to remove.row.

  8. Confirm the Removal: A confirmation pop-upprompt will appear. Click OK to confirmpermanently remove the removalvehicle's ofassociation from the vehicle.

Best Practices & Considerations

Understanding Vehicle Removal: Removing a vehicle only disassociates it from the current user's profile; it does not delete the vehicle listrecord withoutfrom makingthe anysystem changes.

itself. If the vehicle is associated with only one user, its record will be archived. If it is associated with multiple users, it will simply be removed from the current profile while remaining active on the other associated user profiles.
Clear Outstanding Balances First: Before removing a vehicle that is only associated with a single user, it is critical to ensure all outstanding violations or fees tied to that vehicle have been resolved.
