User - History Tab

TheThis Historyarticle tabexplains allowshow OPS-COM administrators tocan view/edit all transactionsaccess and adjustments (locker reservations/rentals, permit reservations/payments, violations/payments, appeals/payments, DNTT records and email records) onmanage a user's account.complete transaction and activity history. The History tab provides a detailed log of all financial transactions, permit activity, and system-recorded events associated with a user's account, allowing for audits, adjustments, and user support. This guide is intended for all administrators who manage user accounts.

    Using this Feature

    The History tab is the central location for viewing and interacting with a user's historical data.

     

    Accessing the User History Tab

    1. From the main menu, hover over User Management and click User Search.Search.

    2. Search for the desired user using either atheir name, username, email, or account number.number.

    3. Click on thatthe user's username in the search results to enteropen that user'stheir Profile Page.

    4. Click on

      Hover over the History tab.tab.

    5. Click on Recent History whichto is located inview the user's activity log.

  • Use the Adjust link to modify processed payments.
  • Click the Item Number button to view or edit details of specific items. additionally you can email users by clicking the send email button located next to 'Current Renter:'.
  • Click Update/Save Changes after making any changes.
  • Click on the Make Payment or Processed button to view payment processing details.
  • Step-by-Step Instructions:
    1. Locate User Search: Click on the User Management tab and click User Search.
    2. Search for a user: Search for the user using either a nameusernameemail or account number.
    3. Locate the User Profile page: Click on that user's username to enter that user's Profile Page.
    4. Locate the recent History tab:  Click on the History tab then click Recent History. The recent History page will displaydisplays the most recent 100 records for athe selected user. This list includes records for items such as Locker, Parking, Enforcement Adjustment, Address, and Mail Records.

      Available Actions & Buttons

      The History tab provides several options for managing user data and transactions.

      • Adjust a PaymentAdjust:: Click on the Adjust buttonlink next to a processed transaction to modify anyit. processedAfter transactionsmaking orchanges, payments. 

      • Save Adjustment: Click onclick the Add Adjustment button to savesave.

      • Item Number: Click the link in the Item Number: Click the item number buttoncolumn (forwhich lockermay number,be a permit number, violation ticket number, or appeals record number) to view or edit the details of that specific item. Remember to click Update/Save Changes after making any edits on the correspondingitem's item.detail page.

      • Emailsend User:email: You can email users by clickingClick the send email button located next to the 'Current Renter:'.Renter' label to compose and send an email directly to the user associated with that record.

      • Update: Once edits are made, click Update to save your changes.
      • Manage Payments: Click on the

        Make Payment or ProcessedProcessed: Click this button next to a transaction to view its detailed payment processing details.information.


     

    Best Practices & Considerations

    • Document all adjustments: When using the Adjust feature, always provide a clear and detailed reason for the modification. This is crucial for maintaining a transparent and accurate audit trail.

    • Review item details before acting: Before emailing a user or making an adjustment related to a specific item, click the Item Number to review its full details. This ensures you have all the necessary context to take appropriate action.
