Setting Up A Lot To Be Visible and Available To The End User

This instruction outlines the six factors that come into play when creating a lot for permit sales that will determine if the lot is visible and available to the user when selecting lots to purchase permits for.

Quick Steps:
  1. Hover over System Configuration and click on System Settings,. ensureClick thaton ThisPermits lotand isfind Show Only Visible lots. Enable Show Only Visible Lots to only view visible lots and leave it disabled to siteview users.visible and non-visible lots.
  2. EnsureReturn to the lotDashboard isand nothover Temporaryover Only.

  4. GoManagement tothen Lot Administration >click Allocate, assign permit numbers (e.g., 520–619), and save.
  5. Go to Allocations > Sales Windows, create a new allocation, and save.
  6. Go to Allocations > Active Sales Window, select the allocation, and activate it.
  7. Log in as a user with the same type as the lot (e.g., Full Time Staff), and verify the lot shows in the user interface.

  2. Ensure the Lot is Not Temporary-Only:

    • Ensure the lot is not marked as Temporary Only.
    This setting can be found in the Temporary Permits tab when creating or editing your lot.

    • Go tothen Lot Administration >and click Allocate. Find your lot and add permits.

    • Go toon AllocationsAdd > Sales Windows > Insert New Allocation.
    • Set the Allocation Title, Type, and Start/End Dates, then click Insert New.
  6. Activate the Permit Allocation:

    • Go to Allocations > Active SalesSale Window.
    • SelectFill in the newrequired allocationfields then click Save Changes. Set the lot as active.

      Lots who's end date has passed will be located under Past Permit Sales Window and cannot be set as active. Ensure that the End date has not already passed.

    • Hover over User Management and click on Update Current Allocation.
  7. Match User TypeRegistration. toFind Lot:

    • Log in ascreate a test useruser. (e.g.,Ensure John Doe).
    • Setthat the Useruser Typetype matches a type that is allowed to see the lot. Click on FullLogin Timeas StaffUser.
    • Testand check if the lot visibilityyou created is available to be reserved.

If the user type you are testing does not match the lot user type, the lot will not be visible on the user side.
